Rocket Mandarin Chinese Language Software comes from the reputed Rocket Language group. I think they have very aptly named it Rocket Chinese. It is the course to learn Chinese at the rocket speed. The entire course is designed to take you from a novice to an intermediate level Chinese speaker in a period of two months. This is exceptionally good for those who don’t have the time to learn all the intricacies of grammar of any language. You will learn how to speak, read and write Chinese in no time.

When I started learning Chinese, my biggest difficulty was learning Chinese grammar and vocabulary. Chinese is a symbolic language. Each character has its own meaning that can vary. Add to that the difficulty of learning pronunciation. Rocket Chinese has some very effective solutions to this. Their audio courses and software are designed to teach you how to learn spoken Chinese. Their grammar lessons cover up the various aspects of language in an easy/fun manner. You can load up the audio lessons and listen to them in the car or even while you are going out for jogging. The computer games make learning vocabulary a fun filled exercise.

As with other online courses, Rocket chinese language offers you the advantage of learning at your own pace. You can spend more time on lessons that you find hard or just skim through the easier ones. One big advantage that this course offers over others is that they have an active forum. This forum has Chinese native members, Chinese speaking teachers, fellow members like you. This forum helps you solve your issues as well as get personal coaching.

Rocket Chinese is the best course for learning Chinese fast, however it covers all advanced topics too. Once you are done with the initial sessions Rocket Chinese takes you into depth of grammar, pronunciation, colloquial usage etc.

I think I have recommended this course enough. I strongly suggest you to check their website content for yourself. The entire package is priced at $99 and is instantly downloadable. To me that is more than a fair value for the stuff it offers. In comparison to the other top three recommendations this course offers the best value for money and a real good learning experience.

Bai Ling (simplified Chinese: 白灵; traditional Chinese: 白靈; pinyin: Bái Líng; born October 10, 1966) is a Chinese-born American actress. Bai had previously appeared in several Chinese movies. In 1984, Bai appeared as a fishing village girl in the movie On the Beach (海滩). Later she filmed several other movies, including Suspended Sentence (缓期执行), Yueyue (月月), Tears in Suzhou (泪洒姑苏) without much attention. Her role as a girl with psychological disorder who had an affair with her doctor gained her fame, in the movie Arc Light (弧光) directed by director Zhang Junzhao (张军钊). She attended Moscow International Film Festival in 1989 due to this role. Since coming to the United States in 1991, she has appeared in a number of American movies. She began in The Crow (1994), playing the half-sister/lover of the main villain, Top Dollar. Hu guang was her most celebrated role in the Chinese film industry, and Red Corner (1997) would be considered her break-out role in English film. She was named one of People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” in 1998. She appeared in Chris Isaak’s music video “Please” in 1998. She shaved off her hair, which had exceeded a length of 36 in (90 cm) for her role in Anna and the King, and is widely known in Thailand as “Tuptim”, her character’s name from the film, even though the movie is officially banned because of its depiction of the King of Siam. She filmed scenes for Star Wars: Episode III (2005) as Senator Bana …

Brief history of Uyghurs in Xinjiang ** Before Chinese Han Dynasty 200 BC: Central Asia was a region predominately occupied by ancient Persian tribes such as the sedentary Sogdians ( 粟特), Chorasmians (花剌子模) and, the semi-nomadic such as Scythians (斯基泰, 西徐亞, 塞種), and Alans (奄蔡). The ancient sedentary population played an important role in the history of Central Asia. Tajiks, Pashtuns (普什图), Pamiris (塔吉克) and other Persian groups are still present in the region. The ancient Persian language (Dari) is still the official language in Afganistan and in some areas in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Turkic group of people, such as Uyghurs, came to Central Asia very late in history (after 800 AD), much later than Han Chinese did in 200 BC. ** Chinese Han Dynasty in Xinjiang (206 BC to 220 AD): Han Chinese extended its power influence in the forms of territory and protectorates in today’s Xinjiang, part of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Today’s Xinjinag was again under the power influence (protectorates and territory) of Tang Dynasty (618-907AD) and became territory of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911AD). Peoples Republic of China has taken over the territory sovereignty over Xinjiang from Qing Dynasty and Republic of China. ** Uyghur emigrated in Xinjiang (840-850 AD): Uyghur Empires (742-848 AD, 回纥or 回鶻) was in today’s Mongolia with the capital at Ordu Baliq that located 300 km west of Ulaanbaatar (close to Town of Hotont) and it was annihilated by …
